A Word from Jojodabom

Jojodabom profile picture

Hey Ya’ll I am Katherine aka jojodabom! I am a designer, mom, and emergency room nurse. I have been designing for 1 year now and had the honor of taking part in The Cozy Fall make along, put on by Hortense here and Noorain, of Noors Knits.

Being a proud Irishman, most of my designs include an Aran Element, and the squares I made for this MAL are no different. The first of two is the Of Cables and Bobbles square. It was inspired by my Of Cables and Bobble Cardigan, which you can get on Ravelry or Etsy.

This cable is one I reach for again and again; I love the traditional diamonds and the oh so Aran Bobbles. To me this stitch pattern screams Irish and the fuzzy wooly fisherman sweaters are the epitome of cozy!

This pattern uses worsted weight yarn and size US 8 knitting needles, don’t forget your cable needles, they are key to this pattern.

Ok first things first, this make along has a whole bunch of wonderful patterns! You can get them in an entire bundle here Cozy Fall Make Along Knitting Bundle. 50% of your purchase goes to Cure Childhood Cancer. And then you have all the adorable squares in one place! And they are great for anything, one of my friends is already making a throw pillow out of one of the squares! They are so versatile and for a great cause. Make sure to purchase your bundle you only have until the end of the month!

I hope you all enjoy this pattern, and I can’t wait to see all your squares! Do not forget to use #CozyFallMAL And tag @KnittingwithChopsticks and @NoorsKnits in all your finished squares for some great prizes! And every bundle purchase enters you into win some awesome prizes!

Love you all, until next time, and I promise there is another square of cabled goodness coming to the Make Along in a couple of weeks.

Now on to the pattern for this lovely square!
