How the CAL works
The CAL is now over but you can still find all the squares patterns on the designers blogs linked below.
Each square is designed to be 13.5 cm / 5″ in worsted-weight yarn. Assembled, the 9 squares form a cute Christmas Cushion.
Of course you can choose to make more or less squares and assemble them into any other type of project such as blankets, scarves, wall hangings etc.

What you’ll need to make the Christmas crochet pillow
All crochet pillow square patterns are designed using:
- worsted weight yarn in 3 different colors
- a 5mm / US H – 8 hook (or hook size needed to obtain gauge).
- tapestry needle to assemble and weave in the ends.
All squares are designed to be 13.5 cm / 5″.
