Blanket Construction
The slipstream blanket is worked in one piece with a simple 4 stitch repeat. Slipped stitches are used to create the slipstream effect while a seed stitch border keeps the edges nice and flat.
Colors & Stripe Pattern
The blanket is designed with 3 colors but you can easily adjust the number and alternations of colors. However, I recommend a high contrast between adjacent stripes colors in order for the slipstream effect to be visible. Make sure to adjust your yarn needs accordingly.
Avoiding Ends
To avoid having to weave in so many ends for each color change, you’ll find a detailed step by step video tutorial here.
