The blanket is worked in one piece, in simple back and forth rows combining only knits and purls. On each side is an 8-stitch edge of k1, p1 ribbing with a slip stitch edge for a polished finish. The body of the blanket is worked in an 8 +1 stitch repeat.

Materials
Note: Although the blanket is knit flat in rows back and forth, because of the super bulky yarn weight, I recommend using circular needles with a long cable, especially for the bigger sizes. You might not be able to fit all the stitches on classic straight needles.
- LionBrand Re-Spun Thick & Quick Yarn (super-bulky 6, 100% Recycled Polyester, 204 m / 223 yd, 340 g / 12 Oz) in color night sky: 2 (4, 4, 4, 5, 6, 12, 19, 21, 23) skeins.
- Tapestry needle to weave in the ends.
Gauge
The gauge for this pattern is. In stockinette stitch, 10 st by 13 rows, for a 10 cm by 10 cm / 4” by 4” square.
Blanket Size
The blanket knitting pattern is available in 10 sizes, noted baby (receiving, toddler, crib – small, crib – regular, throw, twin, double, queen, king) throughout the pattern. Pictures illustrate the throw size.

You can easily adapt the size to your desired project size.
To adjust the blanket length, add/remove a full repeat. One repeat is 21 cm / 8.25” long.

Abbreviations & Instructions
- st = stitch
- k = knit
- p = purl
- sl1p = slip 1 stitch purlwise
Repeat instructions between [] the indicated number of times or until the end of the round/row.
The final number of stitches is indicated at the end of the round/row between < >.

Symmetrical Ending
Repeat Row 8 to 24.
Finish with ribbing: Repeat Row 1 to 6.
Cast off and weave in the ends.
Blocking
You are done with the knitting part. Make sure to weave in all the ends.
