T Shirt Yarn Chunky Knit Rug Pattern

Have you knit with T-shirt yarn before?

T-shirt yarn is yarn made out of the leftover t-shirt material from factories. You can even cut old t-shirts to make your own (Youtube has a ton of really good tutorials). I love that it reduces waste and gives you such a cool fabric to work with. My friend Irina from Knitznpurlz has the most gorgeous colors of t-shirt yarn.

For this t-shirt yarn rug knitting pattern, I’ve used some of her t-shirt yarn. I let Mr. Artichoke choose the colors, and I must admit the result is stunning. The London Blue with the Wine might be an unexpected combo, but it really shines. This super easy chunky knit rug instantly dresses up your bathroom. On top of being so elegant, the mix of textures with this yarn is really comfortable under your feet. I just smile every time I walk on mine.
