The Tidal Textures Throw Crochet-Along (CAL)
Found this section on its own? There’s a whole blanket (and a whole community) waiting for you. This is one piece of the Tidal Textures Throw Crochet-Along, a free, beginner-friendly project you can join any time.
Here’s how it works. The Tidal Textures Throw is made of 6 stripes (each approx. 23 cm / 9.5″ high and 127 cm / 50″ wide) worked directly on top of each other, so there’s no joining or sewing at the end. Between each stripe sits a divider section like this one (approximately 1 cm / 0.5″ tall and 127 cm / 50″ wide), and every stripe except the last is separated this way.
The best part is you don’t have to do it alone. Join the crochet-along and work through the blanket alongside makers who are stitching the very same stripes, sharing progress, cheering each other on, and helping out when a stitch gets tricky.
Each section comes with written instructions, photo tutorials, and a video tutorial, plus a stitch chart for the stripes that need one.

Sick of all the yarn jargon and conversions?
US vs UK, abbreviations, imperial vs metric, yarn weights, etc?

The turning ch 1, ch 2 don’t count as stitches throughout the pattern except if mentioned otherwise.
