Materials
- 6 mm / US J –10 hook
- Wool-Ease LionBrand Wool Ease (80% acrylic, 20% wool, 197yd / 180m, 3oz/80g) in Fisherman [620-099]. You will need about 24m/26yd
- Tapestry needle to weave in your ends
Size
The Divider section is approximately 1 cm / 0.5” tall and 127 cm / 50 inches wide.
It doesn’t require any stitch multiple.
Gauge
The gauge for this pattern, in sc, is 12 st for 10 cm / 4”.
Abbreviations
This pattern uses US notations.
- st = stitch
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- WS = wrong side
Notes
Work instructions between [] the indicated number of times or until the end of the row / round.

The pattern is written in crochet shorthand. For example:
- “sc 1” means to single crochet in the next stitch,
- “sc 2” means to single crochet in each of the next 2 stitches,
- and “2 sc” means to single crochet twice in the next st.

The Actual Divider Blanket Section Free Crochet Pattern
Row 1 (RS): Ch 1, hdc across, turn.
Row 2 (WS): Ch 1, sl st through the 3rd loop across, turn.
Row 3 (RS): Ch 1, sc over the sl st across, turn.
Note: The divider section finishes with a Right Side row. Your next section will start with a Wrong Side row.
