Because the yarn I used is not available everywhere, and I know how painful it is to try to find equivalent yarn which will give you the same effect I have selected a few equivalent yarns for you. I haven’t tried them out myself, but they look so pretty, check them out!

Gauge

The gauge for this pattern is. In stockinette stitch, 19 st by 23 rows, for a 10 cm by 10 cm / 4” by 4” square.

Blanket Size

The blanket knitting pattern is available in 11 sizes, noted baby (receiving, toddler, crib-small, crib-regular, throw, twin, double, queen, king) throughout the pattern. Pictures illustrate the receiving size.

  • st = stitch
  • k = knit
  • p= purl

Repeat instructions between [] the indicated number of times or until the end of the round/row.

The final number of stitches is indicated at the end of the round/row between < >.

With your 4.5mm / US 7 knitting needles, cast on 146 (194, 202, 174, 218, 250, 318, 434, 466, 522) st.

You are done with the knitting part. Make sure to weave in all the ends.
