- skip = miss
Work instructions between [] the indicated number of times or until the end of the row / round.
The final number of stitches is indicated at the end of the row / round between < >.

Stitches above a ch-1 space are worked in the ch-1 space.

- “sc 2” means to single crochet in each of the next 2 stitches,
- and “2 sc” means to single crochet twice in the next st.
Tips and Tricks
- To avoid endless ends to weave in I carried over the yarn from one row to the next. These floats are easily hidden in the final border. You will just work the 1st round of the border over the floats.

- Use 2 threads of the main color on each section as they alternate sides so you only have 2 ends per section. The sand color is used in every section so it can be carried throughout the blanket.
- The linen stitch is a simple 2 row repeat but we’ll be alternating colors every 3 rows (2 rows in main section color then 1 row in the section’s contrasting color).

Construction
The body of the blanket is worked flat in rows back and forth by changing colors to make a gorgeous striped look. The border is then worked in the round around the blanket.

- In each corner work a (sc, ch 1, sc).
- Make 4 rounds working a (sc, ch 1, sc) in each corner.

Blocking
You’re done with the crocheting part, make sure to weave in all the ends.
